Portuguese footballing demigod Cristiano Ronaldo made his appearance at Our Tampines Hub on Wednesday, July 3.

No specified time of his arrival was given initially, but that didn't deter throngs of his fans in Singapore from showing up at the integrated mall to meet the Juventus forward in person.

By 3pm, crowds were already forming at Our Tampines Hub.

Here's a video by Instagram user sofhianjaafar, who recorded the crowd waiting for the football star at Our Tampines Hub.

Security guards and barriers were already in place by the afternoon, with fans, including students from nearby schools, waiting to catch a glimpse of Ronaldo.

Met with Peter Lim

Earlier on June 2, Ronaldo posted a photo with his "good friend", billionaire Peter Lim, at some fancy-looking restaurant.

His Instagram Story included the cryptic caption "good news coming soon".

Appeared

It is understood that Ronaldo has since made his appearance at Tampines, dressed comfortably in slippers and a bright orange t-shirt.

Ronaldo was spotted before 430pm.

Fans took the chance to scream his trademark victory war cry:
