Mala hotpot has seen rising popularity in the past year.
In 2018, a cafe in Macau named Digreen capitalised on this trend by coming up with the Sichuan Spicy Ice Cream:

And in June 2019, the cafe came up with two other flavours that may or may not make your stomach recoil.
