Sometimes, all we need is for a someone to help us through some trying times.

And one Aini Aprilia on Twitter was exactly that "someone" when she accompanied a boy on the GX-5 Extreme Swing ride at Clarke Quay, because he was "scared to go alone".

It falls from 50 metres high and reaches speeds of over 120km/h.

To get an idea of how terrifying this can be, here's a video of the drop:

Have you tried it yet?

The ride costs S$45 for adults and S$35 for students.

Accompanied boy on ride

Aini, presumably a staff member, said that she was on duty at that time.

On her Twitter account, she shared a video of the entire ride, capturing the boy's full range of reactions -- from utter fear to eventual relief and happiness -- during the ride.

The boy is apparently from Indonesia.

In the video, the boy can be seen screaming, limbs flailing.

Halfway through, he can be heard yelling.

Apparently, he was saying that he's scared.

Here's his relieved face as the ride comes to an end.

He even managed to crack a smile.

Cute.
