Apple devotees will be familiar with its polished, minimalist space along Orchard Road, which opened about two years ago.

But the Jewel outlet will have another edge.

Between them, staff there will be able to speak 11 languages, The Straits Times reported.

Which is an excellent move, as the airport mall is a pit stop for travellers from all over the world.

The store employs over 100 staff, and the languages spoken will include German, Italian, Hindi and even sign language.

Besides Apple and other tech-related products, customers will also be able to get tech support and even participate in free lessons at the store, such as a photo walk around Jewel Changi Airport.

The first customers who attend the second outlet's grand opening on July 13 will get a commemorative t-shirt, although it is not specified how many shirts will be given out.

A third Apple outlet is expected to open at Marina Bay Sands in the coming months.
