From tomorrow onwards, June 27, McDonald's will be adding five items — three new and two returning — to their menu.
The new additions include the Bandung Soft Serve, McSpicy Deluxe and McMuffin Stack, while customers can welcome back the Creamy Herb Chicken Pie and Kueh Salat Cake.
Here's a look at these items:
1) Bandung Soft Serve
The Bandung Soft Serve comes in a variety of forms, including the Soft Serve Cone/Twist Cone (S$1) and the ChocoCone (S$1.20).
For the more adventurous, you can also get the Bandung Sundae (S$2), topped with strawberry sauce or the Bandung McFlurry (S$3).
These desserts are available exclusively at all of McDonald's dessert kiosks, while stocks last.
2) McSpicy Deluxe
The McSpicy Deluxe (from S$5.90) is an upgrade from your typical McSpicy burger.
The burger is made of the usual McSpicy chicken patty, topped with white cheddar cheese, a slice of tomato and some tomato jalapeno relish.
Instead of the normal sesame buns, the McSpicy Deluxe uses a soft cornmeal dusted bun.
3) McMuffin Stack
If the normal McMuffin is too light for you, you might want to try the McMuffin Stack (from S$5.30).
True to its name, stacked in between two toasted wholegrain muffins are two chicken sausage patties, a crispy chicken bacon strip, a sunny-side-up egg and a slice of cheddar cheese.
It is only available during breakfast hours, while stocks last.
4) Creamy Herb Chicken Pie
The Creamy Herb Chicken Pie (S$1) is a returning item that was first launched for a limited period last year.
The flaky and crispy pie pocket is filled with creamy chicken, carrots, potatoes, peas and mushroom.
5) Kueh Salat Cake
Another sweet treat making a comeback is the Kueh Salat Cake (S$5.20 per slice).
It is made of some pandan mousse, sponge cake, sticky rice and then topped off with some coconut flakes.
This cake is available only at all McCafe outlets, while stocks last.
