Lee Hsien Yang, the brother of Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, was spotted at Pink Dot on June 29, 2019.
Lee was accompanied by his wife, second son Li Huanwu as well as Li's husband Heng Yirui.
"I'm here to see what it's about," he told Mothership
When asked if Lee had anything to say to people who might not be open to the idea of the Pink Dot event, he said, "they should come and see for themselves what it's about."
Lee added that he is very happy for Li and Heng who tied the knot earlier this year in May in South Africa where same-sex marriage is legal.
Supporter of Pink Dot
This isn't the couple’s first time at Pink Dot.
They were spotted at last year's event dressed in matching pink.
In 2017, Li also urged LGBT Singaporeans to take up the moral responsibility of showing up at Hong Lim Park on July 1, in support of the "freedom to love""If you do not stand up yourself, you cannot expect others to fight for you. This is your moral duty," he wrote.
