Come June 28, KFC Singapore will be selling cereal chicken.

Its description sounds somewhat similar to what you'd get if you order a cereal dish from a tze char store.

Nestum cereal is "wok-fried" with butter, chopped chilli padi, curry leaves and curry butter.

The deviation, however, comes when the cereal is used to coat KFC's Hot & Crispy chicken instead.

The cereal chicken sells for S$3.65 per piece, or S$10.95 for a Cereal Chicken Box Meal which consists of two pieces of cereal chicken, two pieces of Hot & Crispy chicken tenders, fries, whipped potato, coleslaw, and a Sjora Mango Peach drink.

The dish is in celebration of the upcoming National Day, and will be available at all outlets except KidZania, Sentosa and Singapore Zoo.

In addition, Chocolate Hazelnut Egg Tarts will also be back on the menu for S$1.50 each.
