Funan Mall opened its doors to the public at 11:30am today (June 28).

And Singaporeans wasted no time in checking it out.

Here are some photos of the crowd at around 12:30pm.

Among its tenants are Golden Village, Dyson, Courts, Love, Bonito, Afuri Ramen, ABC Cooking Studio, Wild Rice Theatre, Climb Central, and VANS — a good mix of fashion, IT, leisure, and craft.

Guided tours

For five weekends from June 28, Funan ambassadors will bring shoppers around on guided tours, introducing them to key features of the mall.

The first tour starts at 12pm on June 28, so that might explain the crowd.

If you're interested, you can sign up for one of these tours at Centre Stage on Level 1, on a first come first serve basis.

From June 29 to July 28, tours will start at 10:30am, with the last tour at 8pm.

Besides the tour, the first 300 shoppers to enter Funan also got a Funan tote bag with an e-voucher, which entitles them to redeem S$100 worth of CapitaVoucher when they spend S$50 in a single receipt.
