Uniqlo Singapore is launching a series of T-shirts with Pokemon designs on June 24, 2019.
Uniqlo Singapore x Pokemon shirts
There are 24 designs in total from this year's Uniqlo’s UT Grand Prix (UTGP2019) competition. The theme of this year's competition was Pokemon.
The t-shirts will be available online and in-store from June 24, 2019, according to Uniqlo Singapore.
Each T-shirt is selling at S$19.90 for adult sizes and S$14.90 for kid sizes.
Here's a sneak peek at the designs.
UTGP top 3 winning designs
These are the top three designs from the winners of the UTGP2019 competition.
1. Gyarados and Magikarp in totem style by UTGP2019 Grand Prize winner, Li Wen Pei from China. [DISQUALIFIED]
This design is available in men's and kids' cuttings.
2. Unown by UTGP2019 runner up from Japan, Mizukilobyte.
This design is available in men's cutting only.
Interestingly, the back of the T-shirt is designed like a vision test.
3. "Pikachill" by UTGP2019 second runner up, Emily from the U.S.
Her design features a Pikachu chilling with an Alolan Exeggutor.
It is available in women's and kids' cuttings.
Cute.
Other designs
The competition garnered 18,000 submissions from over 40 countries, and here are 21 more that stood out from the crowd.
Quite a few are Pikachu designs - no surprises there. But others also feature Pokemon like Ditto, the Eevee Family and Mewtwo.
