Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak's trial was set for Tuesday, Feb. 12.

Najib was set to go on trial over allegations pertaining to his oversight of funds held by SRC International Sdn Bhd (SRC), a former unit of 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Berhad).

Trial postponed

However, Najib's trial tomorrow has been postponed indefinitely.

His application to postpone his trial was approved by the Court of Appeal on Monday, Feb. 11, according to Free Malaysia Today.

It was an unanimous decision by the three-member panel, according to a tweet by Channel NewsAsia correspondent Melissa Goh.

The date of the trial would only be set after a decision is made regarding Najib’s challenge against the prosecutor’s withdrawal of his certificate of transfer.
