For a while now, a block in Bedok Reservoir Road has been putting up some consistently amazing Chinese New Year decorations.

That's all thanks to Linda.

Who's Linda?

Here's a good primer.

Basically, she loves Chinese New Year, and expresses it in the most decorative way possible.

2019 is no different.

Here are her all new decorations.

Her decorations while always wonderful, also take into account her neighbour's sensibilities as well.

She told Mothership during last year's Chinese New Year decorations that she would always seek permission from neighbours before using certain type of decorations.

“I’ll still decorate but I won't have animals because I want to respect my neighbours who are Muslims. Their relatives and friends will pass by this corridor.”

"Dogs and pigs, these two types of animals I know might be insensitive towards them. That’s why I used cartoon ones.”

Respect.
