People living in the north of Singapore will be excited to know that a new cafe, Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop, recently opened in Woodlands.
Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop
Tenderbest is a chain of Halal food kiosks offering a wide selection of Western food.
Their newest outlet, Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop, recently opened at 39 Woodlands Close.
There, one can expect to find their signature chicken dishes, such as their crispy fried chicken (S$10.50 for half chicken):
Other than classic Western fare like chops, burgers and steak, they also serve Asian fusion dishes.
Offerings include laksa prawn spaghetti and chilli crab penne (both S$10.90):
Other side dishes, like grilled chicken salad (S$6.50) and fries with egg and meat sauce (S$6.90), are also available:
All menu prices are nett.
Cosy interior
On its Facebook page, the cafe stated that they hope to provide "nostalgic tuckshop food" in a "casual environment ideal to lepak around".
