Tributes have been pouring in since news of Aloysius Pang's death broke.

Jayley Woo's eulogy

This includes one particularly heartbreaking eulogy from local actress Jayley Woo, who has revealed herself to be Pang's girlfriend.

The duo never confirmed their relationship publicly until Woo did overnight, but a series of posts alluded to a relationship that had gone on for years.

In an Instagram story, Woo even mentioned that the two had planned to announce their relationship after they were married:

"My dearest friends from the media,

I will not be responding to any of your questions.

Please let me keep these last memories I have with him. Please be understanding. What I can say is we only planned to go public when we got married.

That is all.

Thank you everyone."

Pang intended to propose in a few years

In another tribute from Hayley Woo, Jayley's twin sister, we would learn another heart-wrenching piece of information: Pang intended to propose to Jayley once he had saved up enough money.

Hayley wrote in an Instagram post and tribute that Pang was hoping to propose to Jayley by the time he turned 31, in roughly two to three years' time.

According to Hayley, Pang shared this with her on Dec. 27, 2018, after celebrating Jayley's birthday.

This is what her post said (translated from Chinese):

"Dec. 27, 2018

Thank you for spending my sister's birthday with her.

Thank you for thoughtfully arranging an entire day of activities.

After we had dinner and drinks, my sister went to sleep. It was just both of us, having a heart-to-heart talk for the first time. We spoke for quite a long while, and you told me you're working hard to earn money. You wanted to marry my sister when you reached 31 years old.

I don't have the privilege of having you as my brother-in-law for this life.

Rest in peace. May you meet Jayley in her dreams, where you can tell her all the words you never got to say before you left."
