A Pokemon-themed cafe has opened in Tampines Hub and West Hub.

The cafe is part of a campaign by Qiren Organisation (a company that sells AIA insurance policies) and is located at the company's customer centres, it remains accessible to members of the public.

Another part of the campaign comprises of a three-month "Pikachu Island-wide Activation", which is essentially Pokemon parades and meet-and-greets in different areas of Singapore.

Here's more info about the two events.

1) Pokemon-themed cafe

One will have to download Qiren organisation's People's App before they can enjoy a cup of coffee.

The app has been described as an "customer-oriented app designed to serve their customer[s] better". It also provides supposedly complimentary enrichment classes among other offers, although it did not explicitly state that users will have to buy insurance plans from Qiren.

"Privileged clients" will also enjoy complimentary coffee and cakes.

2) Parades, meet-and-greets

Taking place on different dates from now till March 31, Pikachu and Eevee will also be making appearances at various parades and meet-and-greets.

This will span different locations around Singapore, including Waterway Point, City Square Mall, and Westgate.

Here's the complete schedule:
