Milk tea lovers, here comes a new challenger.
Lan Fong Yuen, a Hong Kong tea house established in 1952 now has their famous milk tea available in a to-go cup at 7-Eleven stores in Singapore.
Established in 1952, Lan Fong Yuen is regarded as one of the pioneers of Hong Kong milk tea.
The tea house is best known for their silk stocking milk tea, named after the pantyhose-like nets used in straining freshly brewed black tea before adding milk and sugar.
Reviews of the tea house's milk tea have been rather mixed as of late, but given that the shop has never opened overseas branches, it might still be worth checking out the drink.
Where to buy
Each cup retails at S$2.80 at 7-Eleven.
It was also listed as available at NTUC, but Fairprice's online site lists the drink as currently sold out:
Thinking of taking an entire carton of these home? Fret not, for 7-Eleven is also giving away 3 cartons in a Facebook contest.
A smart move, after what happened with Chun Cui He the last time:
