It seems like the salted egg yolk craze won't die anytime soon.

For the Chinese New Year season, Irvins Salted Egg has launched two festive goodies infused with their signature salted egg.

Salted egg popiah skin

If you enjoy the crispy popiah skin of the traditional hae bee hiam (spicy prawn rolls), you may also like Irvins' salted egg crunchy roll (S$10).

The crunchy roll is essentially layers of deep-fried popiah skin coated with salted egg and bits of curry leaves.

The crunchy roll is available at all cartel outlets in Singapore.

Salted egg lava-filled pineapple tarts

Pineapple tarts are another Chinese New Year snack that was given the salted egg twist.

The salted egg pineapple tarts (S$20 for box of 8) comes ball-shaped, and you can pop it in the microwave for eight seconds to get the salted egg oozing like lava.
