Go-Jek's beta phase is now open to all users in Singapore, said the ride hailing service.

Beta phase open to all users immediately

Users can now sign up and access the ride hailing service via its Android or iOS app immediately.

First time users will receive two S$5 vouchers which they can use for two rides within two weeks of their sign up.

Previously the beta phase was only open to DBS/POSB cardholders when it launched on November 29, 2018. Then, the ride hailing service only covered some parts of Singapore. The beta service area was expanded to cover the whole of Singapore on January 2, 2019.

Continues to "fine-tune its app and user experience"

According to a statement by the company, this latest step in its beta phase will increase the number of drivers and riders, and hence, allow the company to "fine-tune its app and user experience".

Go-Jek has been incorporating suggestions from riders and drivers alike, said the ride hailing service.

For instance, drivers have the option to use an in-app "pause" function whenever they need to take a break between trips. Go-Jek also included a heat map in the driver's app that shows areas with high rider demand:

The company also improved its routing system to enable more accurate, quicker routes, and less waiting time for riders.

You can find the Go-Jek app on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
