Photos from a wedding in Sarawak recently went viral for featuring a church wedding with Muslim bridesmaids.

On Jan. 1, photos of the Malaysian couple's wedding was shared on Facebook by the photographer, Ariffin Husaini.

This wedding ceremony, which took place at Sarawak in December 2018, illustrated how friendship can transcend religious and geographical boundaries.

According to Ariffin, the couple is from Sarawak while the bridesmaids are from Peninsular Malaysia.

And even though the bride and bridesmaids have different religions, that did not deter them from celebrating the happy occasion together.

Here are some of the wedding photos:

He also hopes to see more of these multicultural ceremonies in future.
