A video put up by King Alliance Debt Recovery titled "On The Job" went viral because of the way a feisty lady confronted the debt collectors as they stood outside her kway chap stall.

It has been reported that her stall is at the Cheng San Market & Cooked Food Centre.

The debt collectors stood by her stall as patrons queued up for food.

The video starts off with the lady asking them to not obstruct the pathway for patrons.

Another worker from the stall does the same.

The confrontation escalates when one of the debt collectors asked the lady to "try and see" when she told them what would happen if they did not clear the pathway.

That's when she got up in his face to dare him to take action.

Here's the video:

Owes money to lover

Lianhe Wanbao tracked down the lady to find out why debt collectors showed up at her stall.

Wanbao reported that the lady owed her ex-lover S$180,000 and was made bankrupt after he sued her.

The ex-lover had employed the debt recovery service to recover the money after the couple fell out, according to the lady.

The lady was not willing to return her ex-lover the money because she found out he was involved with another mistress.

On top of that, the ex-lover had approached her husband to recover the debt.

Shin Min Daily News (SMDN) reported the figure owed to be S$350,000 and that her ex-lover is a married businessman.

She told the paper that she met the 64-year-old businessman in 2014 when he patronised her stall. Though both of them were married, they got involved with each other.

She borrowed $250,000 from him to buy a house for a family. She said that the businessman did not require her to return the money and no I.O.U was signed.

But when the businessman got involved with another woman, their relationship soured.

The new lover asked the businessman to recover the money and she found the kway chap lady's daughter's phone number and told the daughter the details of the kway chap lady's relationship with the businessman.

This damaged the relationship between the kway chap lady and her four children.

Telling SMDN that her money's gone and family's broken up, she cried and said she regretted starting the affair.

SMDN added that the lady had been in the news twice before.

She was involved in a court case in 2013 with a married couple who owned a neighbouring economical rice.

In 2017, she made the news again for owing a S$200,000 gambling debt. She was sued for the money and her stall was sealed and equipment was taking away to be liquidated.
