On Jan. 27, family and friends of Aloysius Pang delivered their personal eulogies to the fallen soldier who died on Jan. 23.

The memorial service was streamed live on Facebook and was witnessed by more than 40,000 Facebook users.

Aloysius' eldest brother, Jefferson, delivered a heartfelt eulogy on behalf of the family.

Here's how they remember him.

Doted on by mother

According to Jefferson, both his parents loved all three sons equally.

However, as Aloysius was the youngest child, he was doted on a lot by his mother.

Which is why it was "very heartbreaking" for them to lose one of their sons.

Mum's tears was his kryptonite

When Aloysius was a child, his mother would always be there on set to accompany him and coach him on the script.

"She managed to witness him grow into a fine young man into what he is today."

She was also the first to see Aloysius when he regained consciousness in New Zealand.

When she saw him in the hospital, she started to cry.

According to Jefferson, Aloysius loved his mother with all his heart and his kryptonite was his mother's tears.

That was why when he too started crying upon seeing his mother's tears and said:

"Mum, don't cry. If you cry, I'll cry too and I'm in a lot of pain. In a few days, I will be ok and I will bring you to a New Zealand casino."

Father would follow his shows closely

His father has always been proud of Aloysius and would follow his shows very closely.

He remembered an incident in particular, where they had a chalet party when Aloysius was five years old.

Aloysius saw a stray cat and thought it was cute and took pity on it.

Therefore, he decided to feed it.

While attempting to feed the cat, the cat had snatched the food and in the process of doing so, had scratched him.

Even though he was bleeding, he ran to his parents excitedly and with a sense of achievement, because the cat accepted the food from him.

While his mother was nursing his wound, Aloysius' father said in Chinese:

"Where's the damn cat that hurt my baby?"

Despite getting hurt by the cat, Aloysius continued to defend it and said it was hungry.

Brothers remember him for being adventurous

Jefferson reminisced a time when he was 12, Kenny, his younger brother, was 11 and Aloysius was 8.

Both Kenny and Jefferson had wanted to watch the horror movie, Bride of Chucky.

The two older brothers then persuaded Aloysius to watch it with them by telling him that it was a "really good movie".

"He was so excited and didn't know what he was getting into."

When they were watching the movie, Aloysius seemed calm.

However, he burst into tears at the credits scene.

The older brothers figured out that Aloysius was actually afraid throughout the entire movie but decided to contain his emotions until the end of the movie.

But despite this, he turned out to be the most adventurous among the three of them.

"He was the first one to pierce his ear, I did it only years after, and that's actually pretty embarrassing."

Difficult time in NZ

The few days the family had spent in New Zealand was "especially tough" and they're trying to overcome and forget it.

What is helping them to get through this difficult period, however, is by remembering Aloysius for the kind of person he is, the things he loved, the shows he acted and for being the special person he is to have inspired everybody.

"That will help us prolong his memory and that is what we want everybody to feel so too. He will be hard to forget and we will never want you guys to forget as well."

As Aloysius has written a number of songs, scripts, and shows, Jefferson also expressed their family's wish of being consulted should anyone wish to make them into productions.
