Gong Cha is a popular bubble tea brand in over 15 countries, including Singapore.

One man in the Philippines might not be that big of a fan at the moment, though.

Here is Nico Yabut's post on January 2, 2019, regarding his experience with a particular Gong Cha store in Theatre Mall, Greenhills.

In it, he recounted how he had nearly drank an entire cup of passion fruit tea with coco jelly from Gong Cha when he noticed something amiss in his cup.

"The staff the. handed me my drink eventually with a sealed straw and all. The drink was really good. But just as I was bout to finish the drink, I moved the cup-sleeve to check how much I had left and I was utterly shocked to see 3.... yes, 3 LITTLE COCKROACHES in my drink."
