Loud table-slapping sounds were heard in Singapore lately as the Wongnai Thai duo stopped by to do food reviews:
And the first episode on a Singapore food place is out on Dec. 29 -- with a nod to Narcos:
Kin Moo at Tan Quee Lan Street
The place featured is Kin Moo, a Thai noodle shop at Tan Quee Lan Street in the Bugis area that also serves a variety of Thai dishes.
In a part-dig and part-compliment, the duo comprising of the shaggy-looking lanky guy who is accompanied by the Mo Salah/ Childish Gambino lookalike, introduced the place by saying: "Thai restaurant in Singapore. Even the restaurant is not in Thailand."
It appears that the video was shot on Dec. 17 -- a turnaround time of less than two weeks.
The formula of the food review has been set in stone, so there is not much to spoil for the viewer except having to watch it twice or thrice to catch all the references.
