Mark Lee tries explaining S'pore-M'sia tensions using age-old formula of bikini-clad girls & shirtless men

Swimming pool.

Hey, you probably have read a lot about the Singapore-Malaysia territorial dispute.

A lot of really clever people have given their take, and a lot of very dense op-ed columns have been written about it.

Why not relax with a video about two companies having fun in a swimming pool in this skit by King Kong Media Productions, Mark Lee's media company?

Swimmingly

The video starts with two companies, playing in clearly demarcated parts of a swimming pool.

They are apparently having fun.

The boss of the company with the ladies enter the pictures.

One of the ladies calls out to the boss, Mr Ma (yeah I know), to discuss some problems regarding the company.

Mr Ma (acted by Marcus Chin), however, tells them to keep these problems to themselves, and not let their neighbours know.

To achieve that, he needs a distraction, which he finds in the form of the divider between the two companies.

This leads to a predictable conflict when the other company's boss, Miss Long (yeah I know) (acted by Michelle Tay), finds out.

And an oft-heard reasoning by Mr Ma.

The company supposedly meant to represent Singapore then starts flexing, which causes the employees from the other company to experience lust, or something? I'm not sure how this fits into the analogy either?

The day is saved by Mark Lee who recites this proverb.

And gives this example.

Yums, Singapore Chendol.

Phew, hopefully this ends all tensions now.

Here's the video.

In case you can't see it.
