If you love chicken wings, then you might like this Korean fried chicken wing buffet by Chicken Up:
Chicken Up is offering an unlimited all-you-can-eat fried chicken wings buffet at three outlets, Centrepoint, Tanjong Pagar, and Buangkok.Female customers have to pay S$15++ while male customers pay S$20++.
Unfortunately, there's a catch. You only have two hours to consume as much chicken wings as you want. The deal is also only available for dine-in customers within selected time periods (click on the links to view each outlet's Facebook post)
- Centrepoint outlet: Monday to Thursday, 11am - 5pm (last order at 4.30pm)
- Tanjong Pagar outlet: Monday and Tuesday, 6pm - 11pm (last order at 10.30pm)
- Buangkok outlet: Monday to Thursday, 6pm - 11pm (last order at 10.30pm)
Korean fried chicken are double fried with minimal flour batter (unlike its American counterparts) and are usually seasoned with a glaze or sauce. The seasonings at Chicken Up include Soy Sauce (Ganjang), a spicy version (Spicy Yangnyum), and a sweet, garlic glaze (Yangnyum).
Is it worth it? Normally, you can get four wings for S$12. For a guy to make his S$20++ buffet fee worthwhile, he'll have to polish off eight wings.
