The festival of lights, Deepavali/Diwali, is tomorrow Nov. 6.

Just in case you are not sure of the distinction between the two, Deepavali is a term used by South Indians while Diwali is used by North Indians.

But we digress.

Deepavali Music Video

On November 5, Singapore Police Force (SPF) released a video celebrating the upcoming celebrations.

Here it is.

In case you can't see it, here's the video.

The remix was arranged and performed by the SPF Band, with some other police officers also participating in the MV.

The video consists of the officers dressed up in traditional costumes and dancing joyfully to the beat.

The original song was composed by local composer Vicknesh Saravanan for Mediacorp Vasantham back in 2014.

Well-received

This nice gesture by the SPF was very well-received by its online audience, winning praise for the thought and effort put into the video.

With praise going to other aspects of the video as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Happy Deepavali/Diwali everyone!
