Breakfast tastes great when it is served in bed.

It is also quite great if it is served just outside your doorstep.

But it is especially great if you get murtabak served right at your corridor outside a HDB unit in a Yishun block of flats.

Because that was what happened recently, as shared on Facebook.

The Yishun dweller, Shaun Ho, took a photo of a person making fresh murtabak in front of his house.

However, a murtabak cooking station equipped with a personnel is not some newfangled thing, or that it happens everyday.

Ho clarified in his post that the murtabak station is for a catered event.

This genius idea has gotten many a Singaporean hungry for some instant murtabak.

Where to order

Several eateries in Singapore offer fresh prata and murtabak-making services for catering.

Such places include Springleaf Prata Place and Casuarina Curry @ Upper Thomson.

While it sounds pretty awesome, do note that prata and murtabak on demand do not come cheap.

It costs at least S$500, but that doesn't include other fees, such as additional labour fees if the venue doesn't have lifts.
