On Oct. 18, Far East Hospitality announced the opening of three new hotels in Sentosa.

According to CEO of Far East Hospitality Arthur Kiong, about 90-odd per cent of the hotels in Sentosa fall in the luxury tier.

To encourage Singaporeans to visit Sentosa for staycations, Far East Hospitality has announced they will be opening three new hotels in Sentosa meant to accommodate Singaporean families, business travellers, groups, and couples.

Opening in April 2019

Two hotels, Village Hotel Sentosa and The Outpost Hotel will be opening as early as April 19, 2019 while the more premium The Barracks will open later in Aug. 2019.

Here's a sneak peek of two of the hotels, their amenities and how much they cost.

Village Hotel Sentosa

Village Hotel Sentosa is the flagship property among the three, with a total of 606 rooms.

The family-friendly hotel has a beach theme and offers a Family and Deluxe Room.

Family Room

The Family Room consists of two connecting guestrooms and is meant to cater to a family of four.

Each room is 18 square metres (sqm).

It will also be fitted with either two king-sized beds or one king-sized bed and a pair of twin beds.

The rooms are connected by two connecting doors, making it look more spacious for a family of four.

Deluxe Room

The Deluxe Room is slightly larger than an individual Family Room, measuring at 25 sqm.

Each room has a king-sized bed and selected rooms will be fitted with a bathtub.

Unique features

All of the toilets in Village Hotel Sentosa will be equipped with a TOTO Electronic Washlet, an electronic toilet seat that has an automatic bidet and deodoriser.

Every room will also be fitted with a Hyflux drinking tap, giving guests easy access to clean filtered water.

Four attractive pools

There are also a total of four pools at the Village Hotel Sentosa, including a children's play pool:

An Amazonian Riverine lazy river:

And the highlight of the pools, the Pamukkale Pool, an infinity pool inspired by the cascading pools in Turkey.

The Outpost Hotel

The Outpost Hotel is an upscale adults-oriented hotel that aims to attract Singaporean couples.

The black-and-white themed hotel situated on elevated ground has 193 standard Deluxe rooms and guests are entitled to complimentary breakfast.

Every room will be equipped with a Nespresso machine and complimentary capsules.

And just like the toilets in Village Hotel Sentosa, The Outpost will also be fitted with the same TOTO Electronic Washlet and Hyflux taps.

Exclusive rooftop pool

Guests at The Outpost will also have access to a rooftop pool on the seventh level of the hotel.

Rooms going for S$280++ per night

Made for mid-tier Singaporeans, the hotel rates are an important factor, especially since most hotels in Sentosa are priced at S$350++ per night.

Both Village Hotel Sentosa and The Outpost are reasonably priced at the following rates:

Deluxe Room: S$330++ per night

Soft launch rates will go from 20% off room rates.

Booking period for soft launch rates are available from Nov. 7 to June 30, 2019.
