Thailand's largest riverside shopping mall set to open on Nov. 9

Iconsiam is an upcoming 54 billion baht (S$2.28 billion) commercial complex in Khlong San, Bangkok.

The total floor space of the "mother of all malls" is 525,000 square metres, and will be located along the Chao Phraya river.

The mall will feature Thailand's first ever Takashimaya outlet.

One of Asia's largest fountain shows.

15,000 square metres, basically the whole first floor, of products, services and artistic creations from Thailand's 77 provinces.

And even an indoor floating market.

In addition to Takashimaya, here are some other stores and attractions expected in Iconsiam.

- Thailand's first Apple store

- Harbour Restaurant

- Singapore's very own Jumbo seafood restaurant

- First Nike Kicks Lounge in Southeast Asia, which tends to offer more retail services such as kit tailoring and custom printing.

- A 3-star Michelin restaurant

- Amusement park

- 8,000 square feet heritage museum

- 3,000 seat auditorium

Residential towers

The mall will be flanked by two luxury residential towers.

The 70-floor, 379 units, luxury Magnolia Waterfront Residences, and the 52-floor, 146 units, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental.
