It's 2018 and the tertiary institutions URL redirect war has started.

In the last few days, an Easter egg popped up.

Typing "nusrejects.com" into your web address bar will yield an interesting result:

Screen shot from Chrome.

It will bring you to the Nanyang Technological University website.

Screen shot from NTU.edu.sg.

But comrades of NTU, put away the pitchforks and flaming torches.

Because someone else did the same for the National University of Singapore.

Vice versa

Typing "nturejects.com" into your web address bar instead and it will redirect you to NUS's homepage.

Biggest burn

But what is old rivalry between two parties when you can rope in a third?

Because SMU students, you haven't been left out.

Typing "smurejects.com" into your web address bar won't take you to another university's homepage.

Instead, you'll end up here:

Screen shot from Prudential.

Yup, the home page of Prudential.

Now that's just mean.
