Long John Silver's now offering salted egg yolk fried chicken & seafood sets for below S$8

The salted egg yolk trend is a legit thing in Singapore.

Previously, in 2016, there were salted egg yolk croissants:

And more recently, there was salted egg Indomie:

And chicken wings stuffed with salted egg yolk sauce:

Long John Silver's S'pore

Now, Long John Silver's Singapore is offering a twist to their Signature Classics with salted egg yolk sauce.

There are three sets to choose from: Golden Squid (battered squid), Golden Seafood (one-piece fish and five-piece calamari) and Golden Chicken (two-piece chicken and two-piece shrimp).

Each set is served with rice and topped with salted egg sauce, fragrant curry leaves and chilli padi.

These new dishes are also available as a set meal that comes with a choice of regular Coke, Coke Zero or Sprite.

The Golden Squid set also includes a side of coleslaw.

The Golden Squid set costs S$7.30 while the Golden Seafood and Golden Chicken set costs S$7.50.

In addition, customers can also top up S$1.90 for an extra Corn Cup or S$2.90 for Salted Egg Corn Cup.
