Open since March this year, karaoke venue K. Star differentiates itself from other big names like Teo Heng and MANEKINEKO with one extraordinarily strong selling point -- 25 different themed rooms that come in various sizes.

Considering its location and novelty, prices aren't that expensive, either -- a weekday promotion has prices starting from S$6++ per pax, or even cheaper if you're a student.

Food and drinks are also available.

From cute to gaudy

Their mini rooms are cute and colourful, and can hold up to a party of six:

There are tropical, old-school barber, and even cafe-themed rooms, scattered with props and plushies.

The premium and deluxe rooms, on the other hand, can hold up to 10 and 15 people respectively:

The rooms look like something out of a mafia film, but eh, why not.

If you want to go really big, though, they have two VIP rooms, which can accommodate up to 35 people each:

Each room comes with a giant projector screen, and either a pool table or two dart machines.

Prices

Rates are divided into two categories: Happy hour and peak hour.

If you book a mini room during Happy Hour, it's S$18++/hour for the room. Max out its capacity (six people) and each of you will only pay S$3++/hour.

However, there are various ongoing promotions, and one of them lets you sing for S$6++/pax/hour on weekdays.

Students pay S$12 nett for three hours from Monday to Thursday, between 12pm-7pm.
