How do you do, fellow kids?

If you're a K-pop fan, or know someone who's a K-pop fan, or have spent any time within hearing distance of a K-pop fan, you'll probably know that BTS is coming to Singapore.

The immensely popular seven-member boy band will grace Singapore with their presence in Jan. 2019.

Beware of scammers

But there are bad people in this world, and they think nothing of exploiting the pure love fans have for their idols.

Like scammers, who promise "reserved" tickets to BTS's show.

Scam attempt

There are messages flying around, supposedly guaranteeing you a reserved ticket if you pay $200 as a "commission" up front.

The concert organiser, Live Nation, has informed Mothership that these unofficial ticket resellers are scalpers and scammers.

Live Nation is also working with SportsHub Tix to "monitor the situation, especially during the on-sale process to identify any suspicious activity".

Lyrical genius

To remind BTS fans who remain unaware, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) has some advice.

Concert promoter ONE Production was suitably impressed and uploaded the picture with a message for the BTS A.R.M.Y:
Their message reminds fans to only purchase tickets from the authorised agent.

In a clever touch, the picture itself contains references to popular BTS songs:

Looks like someone in the SPF is a huge K-pop fan.

Maybe you'll see them jumping up and down beside you at the big show.
