If you don't already know, SIM University (UniSIM) was renamed the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) last year.

"Singapore University of Self Study"

On September 15, someone edited the Wikipedia page of SUSS.

The name of the school was changed to "Singapore University of Self Study":

Perhaps implying that SUSS did not provide enough, at least to the Wiki editor, value-added teaching to the students.

One of the descriptions was also changed to: "SUSS champions self study and study alone on time on target and for old people".

In addition, the names of the chancellor, president and provost were changed to "myself".

Within minutes, the revisions were corrected:

On September 20, however, someone changed the name of SUSS to "Singapore University of Self Study" again:

As of this article, the edit still remains on the page.

This is not the first time that the SUSS Wikipedia page has seen such edits.

Previously, on February 22, someone changed the name of the university to "Singapore University of Old People":

Reactions from ex-students

We asked some former students of SUSS, who graduated a few years ago, what they had to say about the this.

Here are some of their replies.

A slight clarification on the above response, we incorrectly gave the respondent the information that the school had changed their name to School of Self Study (SOSS)

But her response still keeps to the spirit of what she meant.
