Talk about no 'f's being given that day.
Typo
Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific painted its name as "Cathay Paciic" on one of its planes that was ready for flight.
The distinctive green livery was clearly missing an “F”.
The mistake was spotted by travellers at Hong Kong International Airport, who then contacted the airline, according to BBC.
Cathay Pacific acknowledged the screw-up by tweeting about the incident itself:
Oops this special livery won’t last long! She’s going back to the shop!

Genuine mistake
The airline said it was a genuine mistake.
However, some in the industry said it was inexplicable how this error could have come to pass.
An engineer for Haeco, a sister company of the airline, was quoted in the South China Morning Post saying: "The spacing is too on-point for a mishap."
"There should be a blank gap in between letters if it was a real mistake I think."
The correction likely cost several thousand dollars to fix, according to SCMP.
