HalalSG, the official Twitter account of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), confirmed on Aug. 2 that seafood franchise Fish & Co.'s halal certificates expired on March 2018.

Fish & Co announcement
On Aug. 1, Fish & Co. Singapore announced on their Facebook page that their Halal certification consultant is "sorting out matters" of the renewal.

Fish & Co. also stated that all of their restaurants are complying with Halal standards set by MUIS and they intend to renew their Halal certification.The home-grown seafood franchise started in 1998. It currently has 10 outlets across Singapore.
