Good news, national servicemen past and present: In conjunction with a number organisations, a slew of hawker stalls, merchants, and even community centres are now offering discounts to thank those with the 11B.

For most of these discounts, all you have to do is show the 11B or wear your uniform.

The benefits will start from July 1 till the next couple of months, depending on each individual deal.

Here's a list of them.

People's Association

This year, People's Association has partnered with community centres, hawker stalls and merchants to offer a whole series of promotions. Here are some of the places you can find these discounts:

1. CCs, gyms, and water ventures

Discounts for facilities are extended to community centres in nine GRCs including: Ang Mo Kio, Bishan-Toa Payoh, Jalan Besar, Tanjong Pagar, Nee Soon, Holland-Bukit Timah, Chua Chu Kang, Jurong and West Coast.

Some of the facilities you can use are the badminton courts and function rooms at the community centres.

For fitness enthusiasts, discounts are also offered to gyms at Ulu Pandan, Serangoon, Potong Pasir, Henderson, Queenstown, Ayer Rajah and Dover community centres, and Tampines West Gym at Tampines Community School.

Plus, there's 10% discount for courses at any their water venture outlets located at East Coast, Pasir Ris, Sembawang, Changi, Marina Bay, Bedok Reservoir and Lower Seletar Reservoir.

2. Hawker stalls and merchants

Over 200 stalls and merchants are offering discounts to show their thanks to national servicemen.

This includes hawker centre stalls are located at Redhill, Smith Street, Marine Terrace, Keat Hong, Yishun Ring Road, Ang Mo Kio, Alexandra Village, New Market Road, Marine Terrace, Boon Lay Place and Tampines Hub.

On the other hand, some of the merchants offering discounts are Laundry Club, Kent Ridge Education Hub, Spectacle Lodge, and Cristofori Music.

SAF discounts

As part of their celebrations, the SAF (Singapore Armed Forces) have also partnered multiple merchants to offer promotions during this period.

There are discounts for F&B, entertainment, beauty and fashion and electronic and IT, amongst others.

This year they even have a handy website to check what is on offer.

Notable merchants include Best Denki, Delifrance, New Balance and Wave House Sentosa.

Discounts range from 10 cents off 5 cups of soya bean drink, to 20% discount for home accessories, and even 50% off when you shop at Puma, Bugis+.

SAFRA

Recreational club SAFRA (where SAF NSmen and their dependents are eligible to join as a member) is also offering their own list of promotions to thank NSmen.

This year, they have partnered up with merchants like Ya Kun, Burger King and Swensen's to offer a whole variety freebies and discounts.

For most merchants, you only have to show your SAFRA card to claim them, but do look out for those that require physical coupons.

HometeamNS

For those who have a HomeTeamNS membership instead of SAFRA, they have a list of promotions and partnerships too.

HomeTeamNS has even teamed up with online retailers like Shopee, Zalora and Lazada for vouchers to use on your online shopping.
