Former Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak has been arrested on July 3.
According to Malay Mail on July 3, the former Barisan Nasional leader was arrested by officers from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at his private residence.
The Malaysian Insight also tweeted a picture at 4.14pm of a car believed to be transporting Najib from his home in Langgak Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

The 65-year-old politician had been seen leaving his private residence in an unmarked police car.
The authorities have not made a public statement giving details about Najib's arrest, although an editor with the Malay Mail said that he expected the MACC to release a public statement in due course.
UPDATE:
According to news agency Bernama, Najib will be charged on July 4 at 8:30 am in a Kuala Lumpur court.
Citing a statement made by the 1MDB Special Task Force, it added that Najib will be charged in connection with the probe into SRC International.
The company was formerly a subsidiary of 1MDB, and was set up in 2011 by Najib himself.
