Which might lead you to think a S$2 meal doesn't warrant much complaint, but one dish of "chicken rice" definitely proved us wrong.

Cried when she reached home

Desty Nee was "famished" after a long day at work, and decided to buy some supper at a coffee shop.

As the stall was closing, the boss had sold her steamed drumstick with rice at a special price of S$2.

Which is an excellent deal.

Sadly, the woman cried when she reached home — instead of a steamed drumstick, she had gotten a slab of steamed ginger that looked remarkably like a drumstick:

Look at that sexy, chicken-like curves, as well as loose hanging parts that resembled skin and tendons.

We would have cried too.
