Mookata, a Thai barbecue and steamboat hybrid, might just become Singaporeans' staple diet.

And for big eaters, seafood lovers, and people who dip everything in cheese, Sumo Cheese Mookata Buffet offers a cheese mookata buffet with an array of fresh seafood, marinated meat, free flow ice-cream, and Thai milk tea.

Diners pay S$29.90 (adult) and S$15 (child) for a free-flow meal.

Taxes are applicable, and there's also an additional S$3 charge for Fridays, weekends, public holidays, and eve of public holidays.

The additional charges do not apply to children though, who dine for S$15 nett.

This might not be the cheapest buffet in town, but it might just be the most value-for-money with its ingredients and variety.

Fresh seafood

For seafood, there's scallops, flower crabs, crayfish, prawns, salmon, squid, and more:

For meat, there's spicy pork belly, garlic pork belly, pork neck, teriyaki chicken, and beef, to name a few.

This is in addition to the usual items of meat balls, lobster balls, cuttlefish balls, cheese tofu, luncheon meat and such.

For drinks, there's free flow ice-cream and Thai milk tea. Canned drinks and sparkling drinks are available as well.

Three-plus-one promotion

Additionally, there's a three plus-one promotion going on right now, meaning that an adult dines free with every three paying adults.
