For those who love a spooky tale, read on.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, July 7, one Mohammed Fauzi Mokhtar wrote about how his wife apparently encountered something strange in their Pasir Ris flat.
The post, which includes two videos, also appears to show that she caught something creepy on camera.
Cats were acting oddly
Fauzi wrote that it happened around 3am, when he was still at work and not home yet.
His wife, Aisha Suhaimi, reached home at that time only to be greeted by an odd sight the moment she entered the house.
The couple's youngest kitten, Maya, had gone into hiding, while another cat, Jovi, had gone to the service yard.
Bonita, one of their senior cats, was growling. Jerry, the other senior cat, was "staring blankly at the scratchboard towards [their] balcony."

Saw an extra cat in the home
And to her shock, Aisha claimed that she saw an "extra" cat that did not belong to them, sitting on the scratchboard Jerry was staring at.
But this cat was no ordinary feline — according to Aisha, she described it to be a large one with weird patterns on its body, as well as a large spiral in the centre.
And despite being territorial by nature, she noted that none of her cats made any attempt to attack it.
She said she also found it curious that such a large cat could have gotten into her flat, which was on the seventh storey.
Wispy outline supposedly caught on camera
Panicking, she quickly pulled out her phone to record this phenomenon.
Instead of capturing what Aisha supposedly saw with her eyes, the video seemed to reveal a white, wispy outline.
It also appeared to be billowing smoke.

"Cat" nowhere to be found
Subsequently, Fauzi wrote that his neighbours, as well as a nephew who lives across the road, came over to help find this mysterious cat.
However, it was nowhere to be found.
