Here at Mothership, we have highlighted several heartwarming stories involving taxi drivers.
And here's yet another.
Video shows man rushing to cab and walking towards camera
In a clip uploaded to community page SG Road Vigilante by one Samantha Chan on Friday, June 22, a taxi driver is seen walking towards his cab and then walking towards the camera with his parking coupon, at around 10am.
Here it is:

This, mind you, was on Purvis Street, where it is often busy and challenging to pause and wait for a space to open up if one wanted to park there — drivers often end up circling the area or going up and down the parallel streets on either side in an attempt to locate a place to stop their vehicles.
Shared parking coupon with unused time
What happened in the video may not be clear without context, but Chan explained in her post that the taxi driver had just finished his breakfast when he saw her waiting for a parking space.
Aside from trying to remove his taxi from the parking lot, he also walked towards her to pass an hour-long parking coupon that she could use for the remaining time that was available on it.
This experience left Chan with the following takeaway:
"Why not show a little kindness each day, be slow in judging someone and be generous to those (or yet to) who show kindness to you."
Here's a screenshot of her post:
Nice.
