Residents who celebrated Hari Raya around Woodlands Street 13 in the Marsiling area would have seen beautiful holiday decorations just in time for the festivities.
A painstakingly constructed piece stands proudly at beside the entrance to the carpark located between Blocks 178 and 179, with a crescent moon cradling smaller scale replicas of a mosque's facade, and the structure stands a little taller than the sheltered walkway behind it.

It's super stunning at night when it lights up in a multitude of soft, festive colours.

The sheltered walkway was also decked out in a multitude of fairy lights and disco lights, which is a really nice touch.
And yes, there's a brightly-lit coconut tree, complete with LED leaves and coconuts!
Decorations for every occasion
If this particular spot seems familiar to you, it's because it's been decorated on several other major holidays, such as Chinese New Year, Deepavali, and Christmas.
This is all done by Tan Koon Tat, a resident of Block 179 who is a carpenter by trade.
His family is extremely supportive of his passion and he has since done decorations like these for the neighbourhood for over 10 years, with the blessing of the Marsiling-Yew Tee Town Council.
Indeed, to voluntarily spend time and money to bring a bit of festive cheer to a neighbourhood in this fashion makes community-loving uncles like Tan a rare gem.
We're certain his community will treasure and support him for the wonderful memories he's created, and those he's about to make.
