An Associated Press (AP) article has completely and undisputedly butchered the pronunciation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's name.

The article, which reported on Donald Trump's visit to Singapore for the Trump-Kim Summit and his meeting with PM Lee, was then reproduced by the New York Times.

Moreover, the same faux pas, seemingly from a different article published on NYT, was spotted by another reader:
