History was made at about 3pm on Sunday, June 10, as Singapore welcomed the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for his first official visit — ever.
Kim Jong-un touched down at Changi Airport, and was greeted by Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan.
The Minister tweeted a photo of himself greeting the North Korean leader. With him was Education Minister Ong Ye Kung:

The Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea is now en route to the St Regis Hotel on Tanglin Road, where he is likely to be staying for the duration of his time here.
His unprecedented summit with U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled for Tuesday, June 12, with the first meeting reportedly slated to begin at 9am at the Capella Hotel in Sentosa.
