A pedestrian, who appears to be an elderly man, was hit by a motorcyclist while attempting to jaywalk across the four-lane Bendemeer Road.
The accident happened along 990 Bendeemer Road just outside Micron Semiconductors and was captured in a video submitted to Facebook page Singapore Reckless Drivers Facebook page.
There are two traffic light crossings in that area: One that is just several metres ahead and one several metres behind where the pedestrian was hit.
Just before the accident, the traffic light had turned green and the vehicles were just starting to accelerate and move off from their stationary positions.
The pedestrian had dashed across the right-most two lanes.
He was about the reach the third lane when an oncoming lane-splitting motorcyclist collided into him, which sent the man flying in the air.
He was flung across the road and landed on the third lane in front of a grey Honda.
