U.S. President Donald Trump met with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at noon on June 11. This was Trump's first visit to Singapore as President.
The two leaders held a bilateral meeting at the Istana, and took part in a working lunch.
Lee uploaded a live PMO video to Facebook of the beginning of his lunch with Trump at about 12:30 pm.
Lee was accompanied by members of his Cabinet, including:
- Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong
- Minister for Home Affairs and Law K. Shanmugam
- Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam
- Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan
- Minister for Communications and Information S. Iswaran
- Minister for Education Ong Ye Kung
Trump's own delegation included:
- Secretary of State Mike Pompeo
- Chief of Staff John Kelly
- Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders
- National Security Advisor John Bolton

Said Trump at the start of the lunch:"We have a very interesting meeting in particular tomorrow, and I think things can work out very nicely. We appreciate your hospitality and professionalism and your friendship. Thank you very much."
Trump is scheduled to hold a historic summit with North Korea's Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un at Sentosa's Capella hotel on June 12.
This will be the first time that the leaders of the United States and North Korea will meet in person.

Upcoming summit
Trump landed in Singapore at Paya Lebar Air Base at 8:20 pm on June 10. He was greeted by Minister Vivian on the tarmac, before traveling to the Shangri-La Hotel in his Presidential motorcade.
In the morning of June 11, he tweeted:

The Singapore government have been kept busy too.
Lee met with Kim on June 10 at the Istana, after the North Korean leader arrived in Singapore at about 3:00 pm at Changi Airport.
On the morning of June 11, Minister Vivian also held a "quick" meeting with North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
