Meating Place opened in 2018 and it is already known for its value-for-money offerings, including their beef which is aged in-house.
What they serve:
The 18-hour Slow-Cooked Wagyu Karubi Bowl (S$19) consists of seared Wagyu karubi (short ribs) on top of Japanese brown rice.
It is served with seasonal house-made pickles, onsen eggs, edamame beans, taro chips, red radish, and spring onions.

Black Angus Steak Sandwich (S$16) is served with Gruyere and Cheddar cheese, beef tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, horseradish lemon cream, and seasonal house-made pickles.
One common feedback from foodies is that the sandwich might be a little under-seasoned for people with a heavier palette.
If you're looking for something more substantial, they have a Slow-Roasted Black Angus Striploin Roast (S$21) which is served with crispy potatoes.
If you're not in the mood for beef, Meating Place also serves chicken, like their Half "Anxin" Free-Roam Spring Chicken (S$17), which is sourced from a local farm in Loyang.
"Anxin" chicken is a French breed of chicken raised without hormones and antibiotics.
Aside from meats, Meating Place also has fish dishes such as the Spanish Mackerel "Barlotto" (S$17) (that's a barley risotto) and Tea-Smoked Trout (or Salmon) (S$19):
