Made the customer's day.

Talk about excellent service standards.

On May 17, McDonald's staff went the extra mile to fulfil a special request from a customer who asked for a drawing of a dinosaur on a napkin.

Dinosaur on a napkin

This cute gesture was shared in a Facebook post by one Amanda Tay.

Tay shared a screenshot of her McDonald's order with her special instructions involving extra sauce, and "if possible, a drawing of a dinosaur on a napkin too please and thank you":

She wrote in her post that her request for the drawing was "just for fun" and she "didn't think they'd entertain [her] ridiculous request."

As it turns out, it wasn't too ridiculous for the staff attending to it.

Sure enough, Tay's order came with a drawing of a dinosaur, complete with a cheery note that said "Have a nice day!"

It is unclear which branch this order was from.

However, the drawing was signed off by the "BWC team". We're not sure what BWC stands for, but our best guess is Beauty World Centre, which does have a McDonald's branch.

Pleasantly surprised by this gesture, Tay took to Facebook to thank McDonald's for making her day.

Here is her post, in case you can't see it:

Not the first special order

Special requests for Mcdonald's delivery might typically include custom meal orders or a request for extra sauce.

However, this is not the first time that McDonald's staff have entertained interesting special orders.

Just last month, a customer requested for his McDelivery guy to also help him buy a packet of Winston red cigarettes, which he promised to pay for upon delivery.

And indeed, his trusty McDelivery staff delivered.

Given these wholesome stories of how fast-food staff go to the extra mile to make their customers' day, it remains to be seen what might be rejected.

For Tay, however, she is already looking forward to her next order.

"Looking forward to my next order to see what else I can get them to draw!"
