Hello Kitty fans have something to rejoice about.

Japan's West Japan Railway (JR-West) is launching a new Hello Kitty Shinkansen next month.

The new Shinkansen will start running on the Sanyo Shinkansen line from Osaka's Shin-Osaka Station to Takata Station in Fukuoka from June 30 for a limited time only.

The company previously launched an Evangelion Shinkansen which ran from November 7, 2015, to May 13 this year.

Pink, white and wrapped in bows

According to SoraNews24, the theme of the Hello Kitty high-speed train is about Hello Kitty helping to connect customers to the region, which explains the bows and ribbons on both the interior and exterior of the train.

This is how the train looks like from the outside:

It also has exclusive designs for its first and second carriages.

In the first carriage, called "Hello! Plaza", passengers can purchase regional-exclusive goods and watch videos promoting various areas in western Japan such as Okayama and Hiroshima.

The second carriage, called "Kawaii! Room", features seats for passengers with Hello Kitty armrests and headrests.

The floors and windows are decorated in the same theme colours too.

Passengers can take IG-worthy pictures at the "photos spot" as well.
