Circles.Life is a pioneer digital telco in Singapore known for its data-intensive mobile plans.
They previously made headlines because of their #3dollarballer publicity stunt, involving unlimited mobile data for S$3 a day.
Now, the telco has a bold new offering that might potentially be game-changing: A S$0/month data plan.
S$0/month plan
In a press release dated May 22, the telco announced that new customers will be able to enjoy 1GB of mobile data every month for free when they sign up with Circles.Life.
This includes 30 minutes talktime and 10 SMS.
Customers who require more data can also choose to top up for more add-ons: 1GB for $8, 2GB for $12, and additional 30 minutes talktime with free 10 SMS for $5.
According to Circles.Life, this plan gives "digital access to everyone" without "time limits or hidden terms and conditions."
The S$28 Base Plan (6GB data per month) that is popular with its customers will still continue to be offered.
Making sign-ups more convenient
In order to make the sign-up process more accessible, Circles.Life is also working with SingPost to give customers more choices.
Other than signing up online, the telco will also be rolling out kiosks at the General Post Office, Sengkang and Woodlands post offices.
At these kiosks, customers can sign up for a data plan and get a SIM card within a few minutes.
The five-minute sign-up process is as follows:

Customers register on Circles.Life’s website at the kiosk

Once completed, customers will receive a confirmation code via email

Customers bring the code to the counter for SIM card collection

SIM card will be activated in less than an hour and ready to use after ID validation
